Maurizio Lombardi!

我在中国是一个准脱离政府掌控者，基于身份的一切活动我都不参与，比如正式工作和网购。我也为此付出巨大代价，我的选择空间被极大压缩，行动能力损失严重。我只能通过少量免费wifi访问互联网

In China, I am practically independent of the government; I don't participate in any activities based on my status, such as formal work or online shopping. I've paid a heavy price for this; my choices have been severely limited, and my mobility has been significantly impaired. I can only access the internet through limited free Wi-Fi.

none of my friends have java Minecraft ://

Everyone is on bedrock? there are ways to play on the same server even with different versions.

wait really?! me and my friends were always just talking while in our own worlds..

…

you can try GeyserMC, you can get it on a custom server and as far as I know you can also use it on Aternos. I've used it a few times on private servers, works pretty well

On the lower end of the sine wave of stress and burnout. Looking forward to the ascent.

It’s the social network I so want to love but something about it feels off.

I never understood why they would allow you to follow different “feeds” but not hashtags. I like mastodon’s approach better.

Oh my god, art was the only reason I used bsky regularly. Not anymore, and I miss it too.

és így nem kell egy ilyen zöld modulba applikált, baszott nagy integrált chipet venni hozzá, pedig nem is néz ki rosszul, de jól sem

and that way you don't have to buy a fucking big integrated chip applied to a green module, even though it doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look good either

I'm a simple man. I see a new platform, I grab my handle. 😎

I showed my daughter Dog of Wisdom I, II, and III, and she loved them. I have hope for the future.

I wonder, is life best lived like a job? I.e set goals for yourself and then work to achieve them? Today I realised how passively I have been living mine so far, but maybe that's ok? I don't want a second job.

was shocked at how antiquated making international payments are in 2026!! used transfermate - no tracking, no visibility. just transfer and pray my money reaches 🙏

should have picked another payment method… silly me

having just spent a week camper-travelling Norway, hiking mountains and glaciers, swimming in fjords really put some things into perspective for me - I should take more vacations

i mean some of the story lines can only be produced by such a mind.

Recently hit 10+ years (cumulative) of being a software engineer. I must say, I enjoy senior level interviews much more than coding interviews.

Being interviewed or interviewing?

…

Yeah, got through some interviews earlier this week. Waiting on responses.

i'm always anxious and i stutter when i get an interview, which lately has been none hence i have time to build things like this site

Today, I wrote a new Business Continuity Plan, worked with my SRE manager to improve responses to alerts, got a cringe email from HR and have to tell my staff to RTO 3-days a week if not classified as remote. Worked out for my 8th day streak, and cuddled in bed with my girl. Hello World
