I am trying to learn emacs for the fun of it. The tutorial is brilliant and clear. Any tips that would help me learning more things. I know all I need is practice but if you may have used it, you may know a thing or two.

There are days llms impress, and days they donโ€™t. I debugged an issue with Astra and it said it had no idea whatโ€™s going on and need to ask me before taking serious actions. Me adding โ€œ-fโ€ to a mv and problem solved. So today I was not impressed.

I'm still getting used to the idea that because of Gemma 4, I'll have Windows 11 on my computer first (and that there will be a presso in Szentmihรกly), so it's hard to get started.

Not insane at all. People should build their own instead of using other people's agents. It's easy to do and the results can be great for you. I've built several; one that is effectively "stuck" in Kakoune: youtube.com/โ€ฆ/playlistYouTubeLLMs stuck in Kakoune

That's definitely the common knowledge but I'm starting to think that victory -> writing about it has it backwards in a lot of cases, esp in modern corporate life.

Microservices. Not really programming, as this is more on the architectural level. Microservices is a valid approach when you need to address massive scale. The thing is, I have seen it applied to things that could realistically serve its audience in a handful of modest servers with a less fashionable approach. It was done under the guise of simplification; each individual microservice was in fact very small. But this at the cost of absolute spaghetti architecture.
