Good morning, techno.
Konstantin Scharf - Still Moving
I've been on a kick lately of trying to visualize the oscillating clock, and ultimately the effectively arbitrarily complex activity of a computer processor, as modern refinements of the line shaft factory of the 19th century. Of compute as being not much more than profoundly refined "work" delivered by the electrical grid into marvelously complex machines.
Does that, as a metaphor at least, feel as important to you as it has to me of late? We spend so much time in a world abstracted.
signals. thinking about shifting my mental framework to identify signals instead of waiting for concepts to be assembled. exploring the amount of energy and opportunities for distractions through the operations of processing what just happened and what is happening to short circuit latent and unnecessary systems. cut through the assembly processes and identify the raw signals. recognizing that naming these "raw signals" is misleading. maybe, shifting observability lower in the stack.
Sunk cost fallacy is no longer applicable in the age of . Now you can do broad changes without second thought, u can always revert back, without incurring the cost of doing so, since itโs all done so quickly and effortlessly.
Putting a slide deck together (outside of work), despite agreeing with Tufte on this matter. Iโll also create a handout that tells the story better than the slides and deliver that, too, but was asked to produce a slide deck, and I think thatโs part of the โeffort theater.โ
Using Beamer for the slides, but not a theme that looks like Beamer because humans have eyes.

Iโm not using Claude Code. This is how you drop the ball.pรฉldรกul Telegram, Facebook, stb., de ilyen รผgynรถkรถkkel bรกrki talรกlkozhat naponta, egybลl felismerhetลk, meg is kell ลket szรฉpen jelรถlni, รฉs egyre bรฉnรกbbak a szรถvegรผk is, ahogy megfigyeltem, gondolom, attรณl fรผgg, ahogy promtoljรกk, vagy instruรกljรกk ลket, ha a gazdรกjuk kifogy az รถtletekbลl, a projekt hamar elfรกrad, a bot csak unalmas h#lyesรฉgekre kรฉpes egy idล utรกn
for example, Telegram, Facebook, etc., but anyone can encounter such agents every day, they are immediately recognizable, they need to be nicely labeled, and their text is getting lamer and lamer, as I have observed, I think it depends on how they are promoted or instructed, if their owner runs out of ideas, the project quickly gets tired, the bot is only capable of boring nonsense after a while
