But I share the article's skepticism that LLM-based AI will "produce a fully automated drop-in replacement for most knowledge workers". That's a different situation. Tesla's a public company whose valuation is driven by the market, which has the right to be irrational. My understanding is that the AI buildout is financed such that the companies need to turn a profit by ~2030 or else they drown in capital costs.

The two main things I use are the duckdb support and of course the built-in resty client. Not needing to shell out to curl just makes life easier. I should probably add that Iโ€™m mainly prototyping and explore things that later eventually will be developed further by others in our organization, so using array langs where I donโ€™t need to type a lot is a big plus for me:) Iโ€™ll let you know if I need anything!

Thanks, thatโ€™s helpful. Those are the two things I use the most, too. One development tool I use frequently is the util.ac function (for โ€œauto-completeโ€) that takes a glob pattern and returns all the globals whose names match. I didnโ€™t want to make people have to define or update their Goal lib path, so in recent versions of ari Iโ€™ve been packaging all of the Goal libs and ari's into a libs FS that you can use with import.

Need to find something else to do as a side project to textlog. ๐Ÿ˜• Thinking of a code editor thatโ€™s focused on the new agentic workflows, so you have it on the side regardless of your agent tools and it monitors the git diff and offers a nice panorama view.
