Is it any better than Undertale? I played Undertale back when it came out, but despite all the hype I thought it was just ok. Nothing really that would make me go out of my way to play a sequel.

yes its much better than undertale, from a gameplay and design perspective. undertale had good story and characters, but deltarune is just that + better production value

Yet I see it can empower people that do not know a tech stack, and get good enough results out of it. However i also see, it makes you lazy (and frustrates as soon as it gets somewhat complicated). I lament the death of programming as an economically-viable craft, but am also leveraging the new tools to build things and to try to stay competitive.
