I reported one post for spam twice today - there was no indication on re-viewing the post that I had already reported it. I think that some sort of indicator of posts I have already reported would be good. Or, if it's simpler, just don't show them to me in the feeds after reporting. Thanks.
Bluey's "curry swapYahoo LifeThe 'Bluey'-inspired trick for twice the homemade meals with half the workFind a like-minded family to start your own weekday "curry swap" to share home-cooked meals." is an ingenious way to save #timenotesfollow #cookingnotesfollow. The scheme is simple: One night a week, we make twice as much #dinnernotesfollow and drop it off at the other family's house. They do the same on a different night. The #lifehacknotesfollow is deceivingly simple. Doubling a recipe is easier than preparing a second dish.

It is troubling watching the news today from the elections in Germany. Yes, it is democratic and absolutely fair elections and the people of Germany make their own choice in their situation. Still, seeing the far right gaining so much ground in Germany brings your thoughts some 90 years back. Letโ€™s hope and pray Germany is not going there again.

Many leaders acquire authority through ambition and manipulation. Iโ€™m not referring to them. Yesterday I with help from the clanker, as an experiment, ported a web app from go+postgres+svelte to ari+duckdb+htmx served locally by busybox httpd. Itโ€™s an analytics โ€œdashboardโ€ so the stack makes sense. So far looks good. Now I work on the code in vim to make it mine. I want fewer layers of abstraction and less complexity, and this is a learning experience to that end.

Woah, I never thought of duckdb as the database for an app. Using it for lite data analysis all the time.

Yeah - but as I wrote itโ€™s mostly a (financial) analytics dashboard so duckdb makes sense. Iโ€™m considering to add SQLite if needed - but for now there isnโ€™t a need.

how to use our time properly. i need to improve my productivity.
there are reasons to procrastinate. sometimes you are not ready for a task and it has to ripen on the back of your had. sometimes you don't have structure and are not organised. sometimes you might be overwhelmed by too many tasks.
make a schedule and only try to get one or two things done per day. productivity is not about getting more done for the sake of it. it's about getting to what is important for you.
