Clean Code

I had so much pointless discussions about this ... but when you say "Clean Code" , do you mean the book or the general idea that such a thing exists?

It doesn’t have the high but it will make you more alert, kind of like tea or coffee.

I just took a look on it yesterday and seems like the stimulant effect is there, so seems like at this point there are mix results on if it actually helps with anxiety and sleep issues. For me personally seems to work just fine but Im not 100% sure how much does it actually does something for me or is just a placebo effect. My thinking is that if I do it from time to time, I can let my body get use to the feeling of a sleep schedule without create dependency on external melatonin dosis or CBD.

All the tools I vibecode. I use them almost every day. Spotlight on macOS broke one day and didn’t recover. Now I have my own personal version. I don’t trust any of the Password management software, so - personal version. Entertainment software sucks and ended up asking for too much money… Fetching videos from the internet was cumbersome - personal version. Photo management software is not how my hundreds of thousands of photos and videos are structured, so…

TOML is a better format for configuration files IMO, if not for many reasons, primarily because TOML accepts comments. However, one annoying thing for TOML was the lack of schema, and the reliance on JSON Schema for that. Which I decided to tackle years ago when I started the TOML Schema project. In the past few months I leveraged code agents to take to the finish line and got something compelling: tomlschema.org

Exactly! The schema also enables tools to have rich editors to config files without having to know about the config file format upfront. There is an editor for TOML Schema as an example, on the website.

I really like this minimal approach, I wish the maintainer great success with textlog. whatever that may look like to them :) I will make sure to check in occasionally.

I've avoided social media (except YouTube) all my life, but this looks like it could finally be a better way to do it. Maybe I'll keep a running journal of cool things I'm working on here or weird bugs that I've found. Or just the struggles of coding.
