So even though I'm clumsy, the law of conservation of matter could still work better than it does here, or rather, it shouldn't work here, but it doesn't.
My 3yr old woke up at 5am this morning crying - not terribly uncommon - and when I went in there to check on her she just said "daddy's here" without looking at me and went back to sleep
Switching from Claude Max to Team, cc was trivial, just another login, but Claude Desktop and on iOS holds sessions in the cloud so need to move them somehow.
My new favorite #linuxnotesfollow little script:
echo freeze > /sys/power/state
Quickly suspends the laptop until I press the power button again for 1 second. This eliminates a miniscule (but still annoying) motherboard noise that was leaking to my speakers whenever I needed to take a #PowerNapnotesfollow. #Autismnotesfollow sensitivitiesโฆ
A bit of insomnia this early Tuesday morning. I call it โthe witching hourโ, whatever can go wrong, will go wrong and the brain is defenceless. Reality, of course, is more nuanced, but brain doesnโt care. :)
I've been enjoying toast to help click through a project. I still mostly use Zed to handwrite code, but it's nice to open a pane and fire up toast from the terminal. paradise-runner.github.io/toast/

Super tired today. Must be the fall. Must be the rain. Must be the stretch of 5 meetings back to back the whole work day. Must be everything thatโs on my mind. Tomorrow itโs a new day!

Sure, thatโs what I do. Iโm not sad for it, itโs actually great to be able to put my very small dent in a few things. But exhausting it is nevertheless.

Glad you're still a part of it, it's all performing, really.
My meetings were useless. I was the youngest guy there, didn't have much to do but practise my doodling.
In China, I am practically independent of the government; I don't participate in any activities based on my status, such as formal work or online shopping. I've paid a heavy price for this; my choices have been severely limited, and my mobility has been significantly impaired. I can only access the internet through limited free Wi-Fi.
