We almost had one, but stopped after the main setup but before signing on. Wasn't convinced of the value. Seemed like they were just doing portfolio reallocation for a pretty penny. What are you experiencing?

Had one for ~8 years. Talked to them maybe 10 times, and they only ever did basic indexing w some tax loss harvesting. We should have just self managed.

I have to constantly be working or I get very agitated. Is this ? I don’t like entertainment other than background music while working and maybe before going to sleep I watch a series on Netflix to relax. That’s when I’m on my introvert mode. When I’m extrovert (I’m ambivert) I have to constantly be around people and outdoors, I get agitated indoors, can’t work at all and definitely can’t watch anything. WezTerm for local and remote multiplexing really is the ideal experience - it's so much better than using zellij, tmux, zmx, and friends.. I don't think they pitch this feature hard enough on their site. I think the in-terminal multiplexers have their place - e.g. if you need to access from mobile (no WezTerm there) or on machines where you simply don't want to install WezTerm for some reason. WezTermrm could probably eliminate that last one by packaging just the mux server.

I can't figure out what's leaking on my '73 F250. Shows up slowly at the back of the oil pan. It's pretty clear because I've recently changed fluids and scrubbed the engine. It was definitely brake fluid for a while after it was overfilled but that has evened out. The oil level is steady after when checking every 10 miles or so. I think anyway... hard to know with these 😬

Hi, yes, I develop ari. I'm so glad it's proven useful for you! Any feature requests or changes you'd like to see? I'm curious what bits of ari have made it easier for you to explore data, too. UI or additions keep tempting me, but I haven't settled on what I want there. If you have thoughts on that front, I welcome them.

The two main things I use are the duckdb support and of course the built-in resty client. Not needing to shell out to curl just makes life easier. I should probably add that I’m mainly prototyping and explore things that later eventually will be developed further by others in our organization, so using array langs where I don’t need to type a lot is a big plus for me:) I’ll let you know if I need anything!

Thanks, that’s helpful. Those are the two things I use the most, too. One development tool I use frequently is the util.ac function (for “auto-complete”) that takes a glob pattern and returns all the globals whose names match. I didn’t want to make people have to define or update their Goal lib path, so in recent versions of ari I’ve been packaging all of the Goal libs and ari's into a libs FS that you can use with import.

Any conversation
