This is like the third time in my life I've seen an interrobang in the wild. And I don't know, but I'd prefer JSON over having configuration as constants in a PHP script like at $DAYJOB sob

My problem with yaml is the indentation annoyance it leads to, and if you are using the same tool on two different machine like windows and linux, have fun configuring those tabs and spaces all the time. I do like toml and ini for editing, but json is not as bad as yaml for sure

I finally bit the bullet and have started to use dictation software more often, even outside of just my prompts. I really like it. Hopefully, computer use becomes much smoother soon. I would love to be able to control my computer with just my voice.

bill gates built microsoft by making computation cheaper faster and harder for government to restrain. now that he's a billionaire no longer dependent on the free market for his own success he's discovered the virtues of taxing the next wave of computation. 1995 gates would have called it a tax on innovation. classic pull-the-ladder-up-behind-you politics. #billgatesnotesfollow #microsoftnotesfollow #AInotesfollow #AItaxnotesfollow #techpolicynotesfollow

With deep respect we remember King Harald of Norway who passed away in the early hours of this morning. May his memory rest in peace. Our thoughts are with those who have lost a husband, those who have lost a father and father-in-law, children who have lost a grandfather. And an entire country that has lost a king. I've been building a Markdown variant called Zd that's focused on extensibility and simplicity. I'm curious what you would change about Markdown if you were designing it from scratch, what challenges you face as a user, or what you wish were easier to do when incorporating Markdown into your own projects.

Yeah, 100%. That is completely something I am punting on currently. It would be easy to just copy over the solution from (extensions to) Markdown, but it's hard to entirely narrow in on both what tables ought to do and how to make them do it. If you had a magic wand, what would you have them be more like?
