Donโt be beholden to one LLM basket.
Get yourself an Openrouter account, get yourself an open source harness like pi and get yourself educated.
I will die on this hill.
I agree with this. I already use different models for different tasks in part for this reason.
Never bothered with an OpenRouter account though, I just have accounts set with each provider.
And Pi is excellent. I actually find it much better than Claude Code.

creator of textlog - Is there a way to get an atom version of the โfor-youโ feed? Iโm guessing this is complicated by needing to be authenticated.
Exactly, it makes it way more complicated that's why it's not there yet. Not against the idea though.

Hell must have frozen over.
I just installed Openclaw on my Linux box.
I had already cobbled together an agent like thing (pi) that I talked to over Telegram, so I figured, let's give Openclaw 2.0 a try, locked down completely at first, but slowly opened up over time.
I am a remote worker, and has been for 4 years now. It works great. But the owner of the office I've been renting have sold the building, and the new owner has different visions. I could work from home, but my 3 month daughter is a screamer. I had a great, cheap deal. All alternatives I find is like 3x the price.
Longer answer: My editor does not start wars. I use whatever is convenient. Most of the time I am on visual studio code but I'll use anything. Well, anything except emacs I guess. I don't think I have ever actually used emacs.
Collected my helper functions to lozenge.el package, e.g. (โduckduckgo
"textlog") opens ddg. Lozenge is โ character. Others are
(โfind-file), (โgrep), (โgithub-search), (โshow-commit) etc.
I've been working with physical AI - Letting LLMs control robots in a warehouse to collaborate and collectively come up with a physically correct solution to carry out a natural language intent. We had to study the reactive nature of agents, nudges they required, etc.
haha that's a coincidence. Site looks awesome. The moving away from ROS2 part is so true. One of our main potential customers for physical AI solutions (a telecom provider in JP) communicated the need for agents to be able to pick up controls from any vendor
I apologize if that sounded obvious/non-obvious/amateurish haha. I was an intern and worked more on the agentic side of things, it was just a non-primary experiment
I've heard it said that every moment you realize your mind has been wandering is a moment of clarity. So uhhh.... a moment of clarity every 15 seconds sounds pretty good
I'm in a similar spot. I haven't maintained a regular practice since I had kids.
I can observe the absence of the benefits I got from my practice, too. I'm more reactive and less focused in general. I think that my practice gave me the tools I need to stay present with my daughters, though, so I'm grateful for having retained that.
