I really like this minimal approach, I wish the maintainer great success with textlog.
whatever that may look like to them :)
I will make sure to check in occasionally.
Finally got around to setting up Remux on my phone so I can connect to tmux sessions when I'm not at my laptop. Even just for around the house, this seems like it'll be super useful.
This is for monitoring/poking agentic coding sessions while I'm not at my computer. So, typically Claude, Emacs, and an overmind process running my app locally in different panes of a tmux window.
Call me old fashioned, but instead of adopting one of the "agentic coding orchestration frameworks" that seem to basically be reinventions of tmux, I've been tweaking my tried-and-true tmux-oriented workflow to incorporate agentic coding harnesses in an ergonomic way. I'm currently still using Claude Code, but getting Pi-curious as local models advance.
I will be dead, and many years will pass after that, before local models are capable to match those of the big companies, unless their intended use is banal.
It seems like we've reached a point where mid-grade frontier models like Sonnet are good enough for most day-to-day tasks. And Sonnet-grade models are already runnable on the higher end of consumer hardware.
In which case, I can imagine a workflow where local models serve as workhorses for implementing plans that you may bump up to e.g. Opus or Sol to produce.

Full of mostly true stories, I occasionally write them down. Habit of talking to anyone. Bipolar. Author. what are some of you favorite teas? #teanotesfollow

You've hit the nail on the head. But here's the mindblowing partโwriting isn't just about text on a page.
It's not about listing a bunch of facts to memorize.
Writing is about human connection.
And here's where it gets even more fascinating...
[parody, not AI]
Some writing yes, If you want to write a post saying why your company has a position yes; if you are documenting an API, does the average swagger page have a human connection factor?
If you are in X/FB, is any of your followers a "human connection"?
Then, in some spaces, say big corp communications, the terse, direct communication is desired, for example the quarter earning communication?
What about software?, what part of your browser gives you the "human connection"?
If writing (incl X/FB posts) is meant to convey "some human being did/saw/thought this and found it worth writing about", then AI undermines human connection and will annoy people. API docs, earnings reports, &c never conveyed that to begin with, so nobody will care about AI use.
I think slop is not taking the time to refine and polish and simply publishing something as it was handed to you by the #AInotesfollow. You use AI but the decisions should be yours. Otherwise it's #slopnotesfollow.
Turned Stepper (self-hosted AWS StepFunctions) into client-server. Server hosts state machines, clients poll for tasks. New resources about running #claudenotesfollow. claude -p works, now thinking if I need interactive session management.
I have been using
Wezterm, Aerospace on Mac, Neovim is something that I need. My config blows up on my powkiddy, (oomkilled) other than that its perfect, and on linux its vivaldib+ ublock origin, My self hosted jf + bookserver and using webdav for obsidian notes backup was the life saving trick i needed
Not exactly "recent", but recently dived into Guile Scheme and it has totally consumed almost all of my coding work. I used Common Lisp before but this dialect is without a doubt the best and simplest of the Lisp family.
Personally, mise is more "try in hurry" compatible. So it stuck.
I have tried devenv as it seems to greatly simplify the setup. However, I had to get something done in a hurry. Tried devenv (which I installed around the time they launched) and got stuck with a load of outdated nix IIRC. So I also gave a quick try with mise, got started with fnox and it was considerably easier to get going.
apparently there is some filtering. can't say "hit*s with hand".
