Through 10 years of #emacsnotesfollow I gained a literal feel for Lisp. After that 10 years, #vimnotesfollow has now cured my left arm strain caused by holding down modifier keys.
#Emacsnotesfollow since 1988, version 18. Running on a green-screen VT100 terminal, attached to a Prime 750 mini-computer that ran an operating system called PRIMOS.
I have this in my #Emacsnotesfollow config:
(setq org-todo-keywords '((sequence "TODO" "DOING" "|" "DONE" "WONT-DO")
(sequence "DELEGATED" "WAITING" "|" "COMPLETED" "ABANDONED")
(sequence "IDEA" "|" "DISCARDED")))
Checkboxes are pretty limited
you can now microblog about your to-dos! #tlognotesfollow#featurenotesfollow
The syntax is:
something #todo list
[x] my todo checked item
[ ] my other item
Most of programs use key chords, like Cmd-Shift-G, Ctrl-Alt-N and so on, you need to remember and press awkwardly several keys at once.
#Emacsnotesfollow uses key sequences, C-c then k then p then l.
If I forget after C-c k p then press C-h and help appears.
#Emacsnotesfollow’ keybindings are easy and the best out there, they are mnemonic.
C-c k p l - kubernetes-pods-list
M-g n - go next
C-h v - help on variable
M-s o - search occurrence
