I'm really out of the loop of modern ai coding tools, but I thought cursor was a separate IDE entirely
It started as a fork but now has also one extra interface that is agentic only - which I never use - I prefer the good old IDE and it's nice that they keep them both.

i like micro. i have arrow keys bound to a layer beneath my homerow so i get a similar feel to vim without actually being modal, and i get to keep my normie shortcuts. not a big fan of ides, theres just too much going on for me
If the integrations didn't matter, I'd be using an editor of my own. I enjoy building custom editors. So many constraints that you need to overcome and so many ways to do that.
Vim over here, though I'm not into editor wars, use what makes sense to you. Though if I were to start a war, I would be on Team Learn One Editor Extremely Deeply and Use it For Life. Although I guess "AI" has made that irrelevant for most people.
