this is mainly a problem of switches. get a keyboard formfactor you like with a good body and replacable switches. thatll be the only keyboard you need for the rest of your life. if you want to change things up, buy new switches and caps. i personally use Outemu Silent Lime V3 Silent Tactile switches from aliexpress, and highly recommend them as they are cheap, feel awesome and are very quiet

Through 10 years of #emacsnotesfollow I gained a literal feel for Lisp. After that 10 years, #vimnotesfollow has now cured my left arm strain caused by holding down modifier keys.

vim/neovim with vim keys everywhere else -- once you learn it text editing with any thing else feels slow

Team vim, it still works even in the worst internet connection. Saved my ass many times during emergencies.

Team vscode with spacemacs bindings, but I kinda do wanna be team nvim in the future
