I’m getting my canon rebel t6 tomorrow yay!!

I finished Andor last night. It was a pretty solid show, even if Star Wars isn't something you're deeply in to.

There are days llms impress, and days they don’t. I debugged an issue with Astra and it said it had no idea what’s going on and need to ask me before taking serious actions. Me adding “-f” to a mv and problem solved. So today I was not impressed.

y'all!

Morning! What's on the docket today?

In the middle of migrating very old, homegrown tomfoolery into a more modern stack. Fun and vexing at the same time. This codebase has all of the bad decisions. All of them.

Why did the scarecrow keep winning all the awards? It was out standing in its field.

coping with fictional characters has done irreversible damage to me. it is embarrassing to cry over these characters

art that can make you cry, and sticks with you is good art though ♡

First of the day <3

Togo sofas remind me of Heidi Klums worm costume

Sharing a link to my music blog: crusty-metallian.net Not a lot of content yet, it's a work in progress :)

Big list of events you've attended! Definitely dump more photos when you find the time. I'm more of a casual Nu-Metal enjoyer myself, but I can also appreciate some of the classics.

It's taken me 5 years to get a photo storage engine off the ground. I've got it now, so I now have to go back through time and get the photos up. AC/DC next Thursday!

Logged on to Bluesky after a news-free weekend. Regrets.

I imagine something terrible has happened (again) and the world is talking about it. I avoid reading general news. Too depressing.

Spotted this Royal Air Force A400 over the lake yesterday, it was so different from civil planes www.planespotters.net/…/zm420-royal-air-force-…atlas-c1-a400m-180

The seductive power of using to just-get-it-done is very strong. One can't hurry quality. One can iterate quickly though in the hope of arriving somewhere good.

I direct a plan, then break it into phases, and each phase into sections with tasks and sub-tasks. The plan outlines all phases, but only write tasks one phase at a time, since things change. That's how I've been working with for the past few months to a year. It has been amazingly consistently high quality. just-get-it-done is for the rough sketch or proof of concepts (I do those too and a lot of them) but never for a quality product.

I like this guy I drew ibb.co/vxRtMxQC

Ha! I imagine there's a huge amount of truth there.

andddd now he's Secretary of state!!!!

we also launched Norma! :) It checks AI-generated code for security, quality and maintainability while the agent is still working, rather than after a pull request opens. The output is deterministic. Here the demo link: portal.qualityclouds.ai/demo

This fruit is rotten. It looks so ripe and juicy but if you bite it you will see: this fruit is rotten.

and the little laptop doesn't have enough memory, so I originally bought this main terminal for programming, I don't know what I wanted to program with it anymore, but it hums like a data center, and if I upgrade it a little, the Gemma 4 LLM will be able to run on it screaming

Dear alerts-that-interrupt-the-restarting-of-my-computer: haha the harassment filters in this site won't let me post what I think of thee

will i get girlfriend

computer says maybe.
