Run Claude code in docker sandbox (sbx) to ensure it only has current folder access and limited or no network access. Especially since a lot of runs are now in โauto modeโ.
Unless even this is not really so safe!?

I'm doing experiments with short attention-span students and code. Starting with python, and, oddly, now working in BASIC. As a C programmer of 40+ years, I find this aesthetically and pedagogically displeasing, but I am delighted to see them getting fully absorbed in writing
130 PRINT "You have been eaten by a bear!" : GOTO 900. Yes there is spaghetti, but it's their spaghetti and they seem to take delight in debugging it. Python will come later. I've linked up my blog (jeff-mitchell.dev) to
textlog. I hope to use the two things together now to build a bit more of a writing habit. The 500 character increase is nice, room to breath but not an essay. Gotta build the muscles slowly :)ai coding feels like it has reached diminishing returns for me. luna is my default orchestrator, routing work by complexity. in practice, usage lands around 16% luna, 48% sol, 30% astra, and 6% terra. at this point, i care less about each new frontier release. the system already finds a capable model for the job. the frontier is moving beyond my day-to-day work, so iโm happy to settle into predictable models for a while.
