Another little corner of the internet. Anything using fixed-width fonts and without pictures has surely got to be promising in this day and age, surely...

My first post on Twitter in 2007 or so was kinda about the utility of broadcasting what was on my mind. :)

Hello, world!

setting up some of my workflows based on this writeup - ludwigabap.com/…/on-my-personal-…of-the-tools-i-use/ Particularly a big fan of zellij amongst others Also venturing into having agents enable more of my work - let us see how that goes.

Hello, reddit 😄

Sorry, wrong number! This is Digg!!

Same here! Though I don't even remember which r/ brought me here.

…

I saw a new post on reddit while sorting by new

Mods took it down :/

sometimes my devices will make noises that seem to go off for no reason. it really stresses me out though, I can't help but always think something is doing it and if it's not me, then what?

what kind of noises? drives spinning up/fans ramping up?

random beeps and a sound that seems like the notification but it just isn't. I don't know maybe I'm crazy

Would a CO monitor help here? I mean to err on the side of caution etc.

I don't believe I know what that is

It was a reference to this nypost.com/…/i-thought-a-stalker-…was-even-scarier/

oh, I may not be able to get this since i am too young to purchase anything online and I lack the funds. I will definitely urge my family to get it though, because I do constantly have issues of hearing things or believing someone is watching me

One benefit of everybody freaking out about the death blueberries is that blueberries are cheap for the rest of us rn

again. Was in the middle of some timeline experiments, sorry if it appears weird rn. www.githubstatus.com

Job I was hoping for gave me the "we found another applicant" treatment. I don't begrudge them for that, since I know I had a 'less than adequate initial coding interview. But still, it stings and sucks. Hopefully my other interviews yield better results...

Wish you luck! Personally, I can't even land an interview these days -get rejected on the spot, so that's a feat on its own.

So I found the blog of a Ukrainian Front Line soldier on Bear Blog today. Incredibly grim stuff to read, but I really wanna get in touch with that guy now and send him so cash so he can buy a burger. Hope Herman forwards my message 😪

If you left your current industry, what would you do for a living?

Something with people, bartender maybe, or something with no critical thinking, delivery person, taxi driver and such. Or I go back to being a DJ as I was doing when I was young.

…

love it

If things turned out differently, I'd like to be a librarian in a medical history library.

Librarian does sound very appealing.

The rho coding harness I’ve made has come along way and I’m constantly trying to evolve it, but whenever I go back to pi it’s startling the difference of what a solid computer science background brings.

This #tome about #Tcl/Tk has me re-evaluating my plans to move to the woods to be a carpenter hermit. Now I want to move to the woods and be a programmer hermit.

Listening to this I had an AHA moment. When the powers that be made more and more LLM tokens the whole goal, I thought it was quite stupid. But I realized that for them it made sense, because in their managerial understanding of programming, they believed the output of LLMs is the best they could get for the money.

Or they just had investments in LLM factories.

What’s your favorite ? Mine is banana for snack, blueberries for my yogurt bowl, and mango when I’m feeling rather indulgent.

I love figs! Not a fruit per se, they’re flowers, but still. And it’s their season now and they grow in my village so we pick them now.

I love how dates go so well with cashews. So at least once a day, I grab about 5 whole cashews and 1 date. It’s a perfect little snack!

What self control.. only 5?? :P

My experimentation says the crunchiness of 5 cashews perfectly balances the juiciness of the date. Your mileage may vary!
