It's not clear, based on personal experience, how long - if it all - the software development field will value devs who actually enjoy the work. Most people I know are producing mostly AI work and there's an obvious skill decline that's resulted from it. 1/?

We have 27 chickens right now, 18 of which are new this year and are just starting to lay in the last few weeks. I have collected 13 eggs today so far.

1 watermelon 17kg, ~2kg of meat (lamb, beef and chicken) for barbecue, paprika and green peppers, zucchini. Total 92 eur. Life’s expensive in 2026.
