Introduced an MCP server this morning for the app I'm working on (getonmain.com), based on a user request. Curious to see how/if folks use it.

Currently it provides a single read-only tool that lets agents fetch all the data in Main about the user's home (details about the home itself, systems/appliances, documents, any repairs they've logged). I think it could get interesting once we provide additional tools for logging repairs, upgrades, and more into the home's memory.

Compared to other apps which all build their own AI chat features, I wonder if the move could be to cede ground on this arms race and focus on building other features that add value for our users. Feels like a "commoditize your complement" situation.

I am trying to wrap my head around Traefik (which I have never used; have only used Caddy for most of my needs) to plan a migration for things I now run on "bare metalโ€ to containers, and then use Traefik as entry point. If you know some good guides, send the link my way, please.

This 4, 2 literary and programming tradition, which Douglas Adams drew attention to, is interesting. In my case, 4 of this tradition are psychiatric and 2 are rehabilitation topics, which is interestingly itself a 4, 2, which seems to be starting to be recursive, but it is not completely www.textlog.hu/a-4-adel-es-2-szuzett/

The essence of aligning large LLM models is basically to conform to the existing social order. ChatGPT respects China's order, while China's open-source models, although reluctantly, also tolerate the order in the US. Maybe we can build a revisionist SFT dataset.

"how to use our time properly. i need to improve my productivity." Why do you need to improve your productivity? is capitalism not getting enough from you? as you get old you will start regretting the time when you went the extra mile to burnout yourself so someone else can be rich... money will never give you back healt... I feel the urge to do something like this, I don't have the brains for coding yet, but I would like to, just scripts, no serious programming languages, but after all, JavaScript is also a scripting language
