Same! Didn't quit, but I don't think I'm a coder anymore. I don't know if I'm an AI orchestrator, harness programmer, dark factory manager or whatever title we come up next, but it's been a while since I wrote my last LoC. What about you? Saw some Pi on your feed. How are you navigating this?

I just incorporated AI into my workflow. A new tool I am meant to master. The nature of what I do has not fundamentally changed, only the process of how to do it. Ironically I don't use Pi at work (only Claude Code was allowed there), but it is what I enjoy using on my personal projects. I love how flexible it is.

Using Linux hasn't really been fun lately, idk. Nobara, despite building on fedora breaks a lot, but overall the whole ecosystem is so damn inconsistent and fragmented. Not sure if I have gotten more sensitive to this over the years but all I want is a system that "just works" and feels good 😔

I had a great run with Mint for years. I was as boring as it gets. I got a new laptop recently and decided to try OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. I am really enjoying it, but it is a bit too recent for me to swear by it.

That’s awesome. There’s an owl (don’t know type) that hangs out at the playground in our neighborhood at night. First time I saw it, I stood frozen in place, amazed that it would be out in the open. only when the bullied attacks the bully, it's when the teacher intervenes I have a theory that it's because they fear the weaker one that has been suffering and bottling emotions for days, weeks, or even months. once it's unbottled, the bullied won't stop until they're sure they won't be bullied again, and that could be bad... for the school and the teacher.

my dad taught me to never hit other kids, even when I'm bullied, otherwise I would lost the "right side" of the fight. but if it's life or death I could react. and I would always report to school, after 3 times I was allowed to hit back the bully
