How can I change an organisation with hundreds of frustrated employees, when I can’t change my own life with only one person. Does a different person run a company and a different person live their life? I doubt it.

I think so, actually. My wife runs my household, I run my engineering org. As I get older I do see the two aspects of my personality start to merge but they are still divergent and were much moreso in my earlier years.

and to be clear, I don't mean that I offload all the work to her by any stretch. It's just that I'm much more outspoken and opinionated on the specifics of work life versus home life.

Sigh. On the heels of , I just went into our garage to find a panel of insulation fallen to the ground, riddled with mouse droppings. 🤢😫 Cleaned it up (gloved and masked, naturally), but probably means we need to re-insulate the whole garage. Which will undoubtedly uncover a leak or some other issue. The fun never ends!

Obviously, I realize that it's a privilege to own a home and have issues like this to deal with 🧎‍♂️

I’m using textlog to explore the intersection of and tech, with the goal of building an app that solves a problem in this space. Named , it's word represented as a hex color. Of all the words there, it is a cocoa-ish color and is an appropriate name for this idea.

being a student is great but the tasks are really quite boring. ive worked in academia now a little bit and its genuinely much more fun to work on something real, read papers, do experiments and write. Now i have these last few exams to get through and i cant care for them like i used to.

The interface here is clean and simple; I really love this design.

I noticed today that I'm an idiot. I built a static site generator with NO DATA MODEL. Beginning to fix it now, but my god how embarrassing. Hobbyist less than amateur...wow. Good thing my day job isn't at stake.

i dont mind the waits, cause ive been really liking the theorizing part of it too, cause the community is super active in between chapters and theres soo much lore and thematic connections to dicuss.

Is it any better than Undertale? I played Undertale back when it came out, but despite all the hype I thought it was just ok. Nothing really that would make me go out of my way to play a sequel.

yes its much better than undertale, from a gameplay and design perspective. undertale had good story and characters, but deltarune is just that + better production value
