๐Ÿคฃ Did not remember the offline version being this bad, but maybe it went downhill in the past 5 years I have not used it.

I never used the online version, but the last time I used the offline version it already was a horrible experience. This was about 5 years ago, before I had moved entirely to Linux. It was so bad I downloaded a pirated version of some old MS Office 2007 Blue Edition to have something acceptable. I unironically prefer Libre Office.
It was only yesterday that I clicked on a Translate button to read a Japanese post. Today I see a Chinese post with English translation right below. Beautiful stuff.

This morning I was deleting a little of Gemma's attachments from the computer because I was starting to get tired of her antics, and then my dad said, "There's a guy on the internet" who's been doing this for twenty years, I don't know, if he hadn't noticed, I'd be doing the same thing anyway.

Went to a store yesterday, ๐Ÿค this close to buy a Delonghi Dedica but when I touched it, it felt so so rattly and cheap and it instantly turned me off. Listening to this I had an AHA moment. When the powers that be made more and more LLM tokens the whole goal, I thought it was quite stupid. But I realized that for them it made sense, because in their managerial understanding of programming, they believed the output of LLMs is the best they could get for the money.
