Deterministic code generation is fine by me. Quite happy to use templating systems for example. Problems occur when randomness is introduced. If you can avoid that it should be less "icky".

Very cool! At least the landing page is amazing! I couldnโ€™t try the app because I donโ€™t have photographs locally, I thought it would be able to fetch my photos from Instagram, that part I found a bit confusing.

Damn, that actually sounds like a genuinely nice experience. I'd recommend books, and a battery pack or two (not sure if there's electricity available), a blanket (unless you got a sleeping cabin) and comfortable clothes.

My past 3 projects went viral. I didnโ€™t write a single line of code in any of them. But I still feel I engineered them. There were a few people that noticed but the majority didnโ€™t see an issue.

You're fortunate in that you've genuinely captured something that people clearly want with textlog. No one wants another static site generator or coding harness. Ideas that resonate are pretty few and far between now.

I should have said past 4 projects went viral but the other one I did a lot of coding too, so wasnโ€™t entirely โ€œAI slopโ€. In all cases though, I made something I wanted to see. It just happened to resonate with others. Still, none of them extremely popular yet. All <500 users.
