- to learn to cook,
- to source real food,
- and cook real food
- to afford real food
- or solve one of the time problems above
Yea, aside from the money, sourcing is a big problem, one thing I noticed when trying to at some point was that there are zero vegan snacks in ordinary neighbourhood stores, so that didnโt last very long.
Choice is definitely a problem. We notice it when we go to our cabin, about a 2 1/2 hour drive away.
The grocery store there targets for its local community. It is beef-centric and often boxed foods -- which is not our diet.
Access -- or lack thereof -- is the worst kind of problem. illustrate the historical and complex nature.
I have a toddler.
I come home from work, cook, feed, clean, wash up. We read stories and play. I put him to bed.
Then I put something on the television and my wife and I scroll on our phones until she goes to bed.
I am not so careless with the little free time I have.
I continue to scroll until about 1 am.
The next morning I do it again.
On the weekends, I get to drink wine.
I hate it when I donโt remember if I took my midday pill or not. Not that it matters a lot, but still, annoying. I have notifications set up but I discard them by habit because they are exact times and my sleep pattern fluctuates.

creator of textlog:I once saw someone flip their pill bottle upside down after taking a pill. Not sure it'd help me, because I suspect that somehow I'd still only pay half-attention when taking pills and so still get forgetful and confused :shrug:

Catastrophic interference is also a favorite Wikipedia page and concept. The thing is, it doesnโt only happen to artificial neural networks, Iโve had it happen to me a few times. Especially with pin numbers, newer pins overwriting old ones and Iโm always scared when Iโm having hard time remembering something that this catastrophic interference applied and now the information is gone from my brain.

hello world ~ i'm a web developer from midwest, usa. it's been awhile since i worked on anything. since the i've been working my way up the ladder at a blue-collar job; i was promoted to team lead last week. but as i browse hacker news everyday, my cravings for web development increases.
