Many pass by me. All combined arenโt worth $0.02. ๐

They only come when you're not waiting for them!
@archivist_eyes๐profilefollowYour mind is also supposed to create happiness, not just to receive it. You're supposed to find solutions, to invent, to imagine, to remember, to love. This much we always forget.replied to@chanuxprofilefollowI ain't no nothing!:
Nourish your heaf with creative thoughts and originality will happen on it's own.
And don't be too hard on yourself, there's hardly anything new under the sun, the joy is in discovering things yourself :)
Catastrophic interference is also a favorite Wikipedia page and concept. The thing is, it doesnโt only happen to artificial neural networks, Iโve had it happen to me a few times. Especially with pin numbers, newer pins overwriting old ones and Iโm always scared when Iโm having hard time remembering something that this catastrophic interference applied and now the information is gone from my brain.
In the middle of migrating very old, homegrown tomfoolery into a more modern stack. Fun and vexing at the same time. This codebase has all of the bad decisions. All of them.
It seems I can post in Chinese. Because I don't have an ID card, I can't have a phone number, and therefore can't register a stable email address, which means I can't register on content platforms or publish content. Hotmail frequently blocks my email account because I don't have a stable IP address, so my Mastodon account can't be used long-term. I hope this is a place where I can publish content consistently.

Well, okay, for your own sake, I hope it lasts a long time. I'm so sorry your internet problem is so difficult to fix! :-(

Thank you. I didn't expect anyone to actually reply to my post. I haven't had a conversation with anyone online for at least several years.

So happy to be one of the first people to reply in a long time, my friend! Have a good weekend! Please forgive my little mistake, I'm replying using a translation. We all know things aren't always great.

I am sure pretty much everything that isnโt criminal, abusive, or illegal. I know those definitions vary from country to country. Just be a good human, and you should be OK.
Spent months pair-building a full telecom BSS with an AI. The surprise wasn't the code โ it was that the real job became verification. The AI read 450 tokens for every 1 it wrote. Turns out building honestly is mostly re-reading.

Bad night, first the boy woke up at midnight and went with him, then at 4 am heavy rain started so went to bring the bike to the terrace, then thunderstorm and kids were scary, then the cat meowed at 6am. Iโm okay.
Do you live there or are just visiting? I remember feeling so at home there as a kid. I never kept my French up so I don't think I could ever move there.
Visiting, for the first time. It's about a 9 hour drive from home so we've never made the trip, but so worth it. Went to Ile d'Orleans yesterday, just... so quiet and beautiful. Seems a bit of a paradise, haven't even made it up to the natl park(s) yet.
My French is coming back a little each day, made it all the way through the coffee order just now :)
Hitting a workout streak. I started using ladder app and have been consistent for the last two weeks. Three years ago I was 75 lbs heavier. Now trying to build muscle. Sitting and staring at a screen all dayโฆ I did that a bit too much ;)
Thanks @kevprofilefollowrunner. making games, music, software. getting into as much trouble as i can.. I find cooking myself to be the biggest help. And not buying those sweeeeeets
