last time i checked cbd was just not psychoactive at all no?

It doesn’t have the high but it will make you more alert, kind of like tea or coffee.

I just took a look on it yesterday and seems like the stimulant effect is there, so seems like at this point there are mix results on if it actually helps with anxiety and sleep issues. For me personally seems to work just fine but Im not 100% sure how much does it actually does something for me or is just a placebo effect. My thinking is that if I do it from time to time, I can let my body get use to the feeling of a sleep schedule without create dependency on external melatonin dosis or CBD.

I'm having way too much fun painting backgrounds which breathe and flow, made out of neural cellular automata, into the game I'm making today.

Do you walk your neighborhood? Do you sit on your front porch and say hello to passersby?

Most of programs use key chords, like Cmd-Shift-G, Ctrl-Alt-N and so on, you need to remember and press awkwardly several keys at once. uses key sequences, C-c then k then p then l. If I forget after C-c k p then press C-h and help appears.

This is how one accidentally encourages the creation of timehash services which vend cryptographically provable timestamps....

Love the idea! Love the UI!

ty! :D welcome!

work has been dreadful recently. spending so much time on processes and in meetings :(

Never realized how much slow builds kill morale until I have to do multiple back to back 😔

Nobody is complaining to me because I think they know they will be "voluntold" if they speak up 🤣🤣🤣

I see Windows 8-level nonsense (well, Windows 8.1), for me the more complicated interface is a challenge, if the software itself works well, but the beginning is not going too well, I came up with a new philosophical slogan for Windows, which is also a Hungarian saying: "This is it, you have to love it."

Is Rand Paul the only American who still cares about freedom?

Hit me up if you want a long-term, low-commitment, long-distance, e-mail pen-pal. I've never had so much fun hyphenating things.

my teacher printed out pictures of vulpes Inculta! My friend asked me if I sided with the legion, lol..

created a poll:

What do you think is better?

Students stay in the same classroom all day, teachers come and go60%

I picked the first, because you didn’t specified level, and I assumed below college.

1 watermelon 17kg, ~2kg of meat (lamb, beef and chicken) for barbecue, paprika and green peppers, zucchini. Total 92 eur. Life’s expensive in 2026.

its true. but meat should be expensive imo

at my mom's. I wish I could play tf2 here.. or fallout.. BUT NO COMPUTER!!!!

I was followed by here and wonder if this the one of ari fame? If so, I’m thankful for their work. Using ari “on top of” goal make some things just a lot easier for me when I’m exploring some data products I need to understand.

Hi, yes, I develop ari. I'm so glad it's proven useful for you! Any feature requests or changes you'd like to see? I'm curious what bits of ari have made it easier for you to explore data, too. UI or additions keep tempting me, but I haven't settled on what I want there. If you have thoughts on that front, I welcome them.

The two main things I use are the duckdb support and of course the built-in resty client. Not needing to shell out to curl just makes life easier. I should probably add that I’m mainly prototyping and explore things that later eventually will be developed further by others in our organization, so using array langs where I don’t need to type a lot is a big plus for me:) I’ll let you know if I need anything!

…

Thanks, that’s helpful. Those are the two things I use the most, too. One development tool I use frequently is the util.ac function (for “auto-complete”) that takes a glob pattern and returns all the globals whose names match. I didn’t want to make people have to define or update their Goal lib path, so in recent versions of ari I’ve been packaging all of the Goal libs and ari's into a libs FS that you can use with import.
