Tried some after a long time again today. Couldnโt hold my thoughts for 15 seconds. I used to be able to and blank my mind for 5 to 10 minutes. Need to practice again, I remember how beneficial it was to my when I did it in the past.

Personally, I think I found good framework/vocabulary to help with meditation in some discussion by Jiddu Krishnamurti. Here is one in which he works it out with kids
There was a short, to the point lecture where he basically walks you through observing thought, which profoundly changed how I approach meditation but I can't find it for the life of me!
I'm in a similar spot. I haven't maintained a regular practice since I had kids.
I can observe the absence of the benefits I got from my practice, too. I'm more reactive and less focused in general. I think that my practice gave me the tools I need to stay present with my daughters, though, so I'm grateful for having retained that.

Well, I'm currently installing Windows 11, and I'm getting to the interesting part, where the TPM 2.0 processor chip can be replaced in software with a program called Rufus, and where the Windows 1125H ISO needs to be loaded onto a pendrive of at least 8 GB.

Sharing your work with others is a hard computer science problem in 2026, the Year of our Lord. You either here the sound of chirping crickets or the sound of "AI Slop" yells.
My past 3 projects went viral. I didnโt write a single line of code in any of them. But I still feel I engineered them. There were a few people that noticed but the majority didnโt see an issue.
You're fortunate in that you've genuinely captured something that people clearly want with
textlog. No one wants another static site generator or coding harness. Ideas that resonate are pretty few and far between now.one-point-five-shotted a local node app for creating social posts. drawing from static pages (hey this exists) or new blog posts (timely). with copy/paste to x, and one click post to bluesky and mastodon, tag manager and stale/archive/reject/refresh options. An idea and a solution in about 10 minutes. Madness.
