The more I use Terraform the more I don't like it. Can I just get the option to track state with Ansible?

Say more. I've been using it this year "at scale" and it sucks in the way that everything sucks when the whole company starts using it for everything. I haven't used Ansible in over a decade, but am curious what you like about it better.
profilefollowjack of all trades linux sysadminreplied toprofilefollowNew here:
Ansible just melds with my way of thinking better. I have a really hard time wrapping my head around nested loops in HCL and the overall "ugliness" of the language. Plus, I kind of like being in control of the order things are created.

I'm looking for a way to manage my bookmarks easily on desktop and Android. Anyone have any experience with software like that? It'd be nice to be able to tag or categorize pages, and maybe to keep local mirrors for certain ones. I'm open to self-hosting. Thanks for reading!
moved to a new city recently and going to a Movie club meetup tonight. nervous cause I'm a huge introvert but I gotta make friends some way.
It went really well, thanks for asking! I met some folks I could definitely get along with long term and had some overlapping interests apart from films. We watched T**** Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, that was a trip. (there's apparently a content filter)

Made barbecue this evening. Lamb and chicken for meat, pepper and zucchini for veggies. Yummy! Kids loved it, the boy's sleeping now, the girl is reading a book, the wife's out with her girls, I'm with wine. Life's good.
This resonated a lot. Iโ€™m glad I read it now, before going totally insane lol. But I disagree that itโ€™s just a glorified spreadsheet. The UI/UX matters, how you present the data, how they can change and so on, all of those things play a role. The good thing with AI is iteration is cheaper than ever, so you can experiment and process the results quickly. But yeah sometimes I just do things here because I just have to be doing something, I canโ€™t leave it alone.
Agreed. The "just" makes the statement sound dismissive, but I do agree with the underlying sentiment that most software boils down to CRUD apps that help people organize information and complete tasks more efficiently. I think the path to developer enlightenment is realizing this truth without despairing over it.

I remain #AInotesfollow ambiguous. This morning I used pi+gpt5.6 to create a #vimnotesfollow color scheme based on evergarden.moe. It works, and I havenโ€™t checked how well it stay true to the style used in vim-bundled schemas. Before I wouldnโ€™t have done this, and now I can. I forgot that I was at work and did my big sneeze, not the work sneeze. The one where a startled deer looks straight into the camera, which then zooms out to a flock of pigeons taking off, and a crow makes a warning noise. Someone dropped something in the adjacent lab. I hope it wasn't my fault.
