Aaron Sorkin's The West Wing is among the subtlest of all propagandaโit is propaganda that everyone sincerely wishes could be true, and is dangerous specifically because it is not and cannot be.
I always associate summer with the months June, July, August โ thinking that end of August is end of summer โ but no, 7th of August is actually summer midpoint, weโre in the middle now, not near the end.
Nice! Was an opportunity to install F droid also, didnโt know it can be installed like a normal app, I was under the impression it was an OS replacement. This is neat, perhaps we can deploy textlog #mobilenotesfollow app there? cc @paratonerprofilefollow
Certainly think so! I just hope to get rid of the scan warning at one point cause it's also annoying..

I was curious of testing the Omarchy distribution this week just because I had some free time to work on it. I saw a lot of hate around it and kind of get the point but so far at least for what I have been doing it wasn't terrible (at least at the point of writing this) although I am not trying to convince anybody to use it. But it just remember me how much do I hate MS.
I think a lot of the pull around Omarchy is you get a riced desktop out of the box? Personally, I wouldn't really consider it for a number of reasons but I do appreciate a nice looking desktop.
If you want something similarly pretty but a bit more normal and less monolithic (who needs a whole 'distro' for what Omarchy provides anyway?) approach then I'd suggest Niri + Noctalia.

creator of textlog. Using iCloud+. Not sure if anyone reported that before, so here I am. :-)
Yeah it's happening to people. It's because the email contains a link and we don't have the reputation yet. Not sure what to do, have you tried reporting it as 'Not spam' in your client? Maybe if enough people do that it will fix. Gmail works ok.
Yup, I am moving them out of it. It might take a while, but eventually should be OK. All good, hopefully now with a password I will not have much use for them any more.

Any runners on here? I mostly consider myself a trail runner, but of course train on roads, too. Good for 1โ2 races/year, more into running as a practice, a way to manage stress and stay fit.
textlog runs on a 2.5โฌ/mo vps 1 core/2gb ram, using just one instance of Bun with its embedded SQLite. Works perfect and I run a few other apps as well on that machine.
Huge flaw in the static site generator I built.
That's what you get I guess when you don't have a computer science degree and you build with only surface level knowledge. You get your ass bit!
work has been dreadful recently. spending so much time on processes and in meetings :(

Do you live there or are just visiting? I remember feeling so at home there as a kid. I never kept my French up so I don't think I could ever move there.
Visiting, for the first time. It's about a 9 hour drive from home so we've never made the trip, but so worth it. Went to Ile d'Orleans yesterday, just... so quiet and beautiful. Seems a bit of a paradise, haven't even made it up to the natl park(s) yet.
My French is coming back a little each day, made it all the way through the coffee order just now :)
Any #Netflixnotesfollow shows recommendations? I have no idea what is worth watching (since I rarely watch shows) so now Iโm watching The Mentalist from 2008. They had flip phones then.
