So I tried the automatic article translation feature, but found that automatic translation only works in the browser; on mobile devices, you have to manually press the translation button.

Nice! Was an opportunity to install F droid also, didnโt know it can be installed like a normal app, I was under the impression it was an OS replacement. This is neat, perhaps we can deploy textlog app there? cc

flutter has finally been revived and updated to match latest changes. Will have to iterate further naturally as new issues surface but I'm happy with what it's looking like.
Hey! Hope all is good with the move. We made quite a few changes. In a creative mood trying to figure out the final form still. Hope itโs not too annoying keeping up, the API is still the same (with some additions). You can still render however you feel is better for your client.
Big for the flutter app.
Writes are now native! Frontend post filters, account details, etc. Eager to hear what you guys think to iron out inevitable quirks.

A friend had the app built and running for . It was relatively easy they said. We also probably have a way to publish to the Apple App Store through an organization account. Exciting! Soon we'll have both Android and iOS apps. Thank you and keep up the good work!

I did make a for API writes. I understand its controversial, though quite necessary for any client to be built around . Curious to see if it lands (my flutter app is dying to consume it lmfao)

hey I see a lot of spamming on the
/posts/NNN/replies endpoints in the logs, are these intentional? They might cause rate-limiting. now has session caching for replies and threads. Should be a lot more conservative on hitting those endpoints.
Another thing I'm noticing is the firehose endpoint is reconnecting every few seconds instead of being kept alive. Is this a limitation of some sort of the EventSource client you're using? Because it might omit some messages, the reconnection doesn't do any replay.

I've found that the connection drops from the server's heartbeat are treated as errors by my client. Pushing a fix in 0.0.6 to reconnect quick and reconcile missed msgs.
Haven't really explored much, but would a frontend faรงade be of any interest to the burgeoning community? Something a little more involved than a glorified WebView I mean.
