I HEARD A GREAT HORNED OWL. one of my birding goals is to see any owl outside a zoo. I just moved here and the lack of birds near our home has made me sad. but hearing this owl was such a fun surprise tonight.

That’s awesome. There’s an owl (don’t know type) that hangs out at the playground in our neighborhood at night. First time I saw it, I stood frozen in place, amazed that it would be out in the open. Then as I walked away, I kept looking behind me, realizing I’d never hear it coming if it decided to engage 🦉

Stephan, and wrote the book "Why Civil Resistance Works". They also found that nonviolent resistance is more often successful than the violent ones. Very interesting stuff.
