I subscribe to the Tony Stark school of engineering. "Sometimes you have to run before you walk." Earlier this year, I built my own static site generator. I hate literally every static site generator out there (not joking). get-taxus.org

I have developed a beautiful free app that lays out Instagram feed photos as a perfect masonry grid every time, no matter which photos you provide it. It's completely free to use if anyone wants to check it out
Very cool! At least the landing page is amazing! I couldn’t try the app because I don’t have photographs locally, I thought it would be able to fetch my photos from Instagram, that part I found a bit confusing.
It's to create the post FOR Instagram, so does need to pull from your photos on a device 😊
Ok I see! Curious wouldn’t that be a good paid plugin for WP or standalone?
a constant, existential pull
so old I couldn't tell you the end
or draw its shape
between kind acceptance
and striving, struggling, writhing, climbing
learning, growing, discontent
"do you feel this way, too, at endless war with longing itself?"
but the birds and trees and ants and wind
in their own marvelous design
don't reply

textarea that I am using right now to be as wide as the header above. Also, where is the character counter?…

Had a little help from Claude to fix a bug in my NNW themes - to embed youtube videos directly in the theme. meaning NNW can now be my video player of choice from YT's RSS feeds directly.

Putting a slide deck together (outside of work), despite agreeing with Tufte on this matter. I’ll also create a handout that tells the story better than the slides and deliver that, too, but was asked to produce a slide deck, and I think that’s part of the “effort theater.”
Using Beamer for the slides, but not a theme that looks like Beamer because humans have eyes.

added two more screenshots to - the "root" post view is incorrect, but when reply-on-reply, information goes up-then-down.
root post view IS correct, sorry.
I understand your confusion, but that's the formatting - quoted parent is below the child post - then that post's replies follow in the discussion view. The top post is always quoting its parent below it, the different bg makes it distinct. Just need to get used to it, same on X.
There really is no other way to include the parent otherwise, you have to break the hierarchy at some point, the other form would need to omit the parent body and show a 'parent' link but we want to include its body.
For , the tension between & to eat healthy is an interesting problem.
If you don't have time, it is difficult:
If you don't have money, it's difficult:
- to learn to cook,
- to source real food,
- and cook real food
- to afford real food
- or solve one of the time problems above
Yea, aside from the money, sourcing is a big problem, one thing I noticed when trying to at some point was that there are zero vegan snacks in ordinary neighbourhood stores, so that didn’t last very long.
Choice is definitely a problem. We notice it when we go to our cabin, about a 2 1/2 hour drive away.
The grocery store there targets for its local community. It is beef-centric and often boxed foods -- which is not our diet.
Access -- or lack thereof -- is the worst kind of problem. illustrate the historical and complex nature.
