Collected my helper functions to lozenge.el package, e.g. (◊duckduckgo "textlog") opens ddg. Lozenge is ◊ character. Others are (◊find-file), (◊grep), (◊github-search), (◊show-commit) etc.

A couple of afternoons of the jinn coding harness and glm-5.3 and my taxus static site generator is properly whipped into shape. get-taxus.org It now has a frickin' data model, that's documented, as well as installers for your platform of choice. I’m using textlog to explore the intersection of #foodnotesfollow and tech, with the goal of building an app that solves a problem in this space. Named @C0C0A5profilefollowwww.C0C0A5.com, it's word represented as a hex color. Of all the words there, it is a cocoa-ish color and is an appropriate name for this idea.

Useful software necessarily contacts the world; models are already better than us at finding and poking holes in it; agents sacrificing themselves for a collective. Huggingface incident has me finally Yudkowsky-panic-curious.

The interface needs some work. For example, I would like the textarea that I am using right now to be as wide as the header above. Also, where is the character counter?

ive been rocking my thinkpad 460s since 2018 or so, but ive just recently yolo purchased a chunky t420 for 80€. I gotta say this is the best laptop ive ever used, keyboard/io is unmatched and it still runs super snappy on omarchy right now, even with only 4 gigs of ram :D AND this thing has a cd drive!

Anyone here using NixOS? How long did it take for you to learn it and completely set it up? My current distro is Arch (btw)

A credit union wants to get their own data out of a vendor's online system. Vendor wants $160,000. I wrote a #pythonnotesfollow script with #Playwrightnotesfollow to download the data just as though a user would. It's going to run for about 6 weeks to download around 250k records and 70GB of images.

omarchy felt a bit like cheating so i redid a plain arch install and am using sway now. if im honest, its all not that far away from eachother. obsessing over configs and distros is really just a hobby that some people in the linux community take too seriously.
