Judgement, taste and quality were always precious skills. In the world of , I have become more aware of the fact that it is often hard to put in words why something is good, great or amazing - or just looks good, but is average.
A lot of the professional content I see feels like most Netflix series. They have all the elements - but the overall experience is still meh.
Quality is still hard to achieve.

Excited about these news! I am on Friday, going to stay for a while to work on textlog among other things. Happy because I was getting a bit depressed lately living in the mountains in Crete.
Crazy what happened earlier; one the cats here โthe one Iโm closest withโ started unexpectedly meowing outside wanting to get in, I let it in and it started licking me like never before, as if she sensed Iโm leaving in a couple of days, canโt explain it otherwise.

This is really cool site but only drawback I see is 500 character per post limit. I think this should me more like 1500. or there is a limitations type something like I can do 3-4 long post per day credit. whom can i message for this feature request?

personal projects probably just arent the right knob if you want to get unpoor. if you want my honest advice i would recommend not showing hallucinate to potential employers, its landing page looks one-shot claude and is gpu heavy. but the others look very nice.

I needed to process 20,000 json files & 20,000 JXL files. I'm pulling together a website from them all. Anyway, started with emacs elisp to handle it all, just because I've not done that before. Went kinda ok, and I'm gonna use org-mode to export it all to a website (done that bit loads of times before).
In the end, I ended up breaking out my C programming skills (late 80s->nowish). It was a delight. Nothing more refreshing than writing raw code, that doesn't rely on 3rd party code/libs.
