What is the exact definition of an IDE? JetBrain's products are as good as ever, in my opinion, but people have definitely made non-IDEs into big, hulking behemoths with tons of plugins. If anything, maybe "just an editor" is dead?
I think they mean the transition that all IDE's are making towards an agentic interface, hiding the code completely as humans will not have to interact with it since the AI will be doing a better job at everything, even auditing it.

I feel the urge to do something like this, I don't have the brains for coding yet, but I would like to, just scripts, no serious programming languages, but after all, JavaScript is also a scripting language

if it was the first of its kind I would like it but its not and I already have a main one so this is kinda nobolty to me
What's your main one? I use Substack Notes a bit these days. I was a big Twitter user (and used to work there) years ago, but stopped using it in 2023.
New in agenttop.dev : panels open in your #multiplexernotesfollow. ๐Ÿคนโ€โ™‚๏ธ โ€ข Any panel can now split into its own pane, live, beside the #agentsnotesfollow table. โ€ข Works with all the popular multiplexers: #๐˜๐—บ๐˜‚๐˜…notesfollow, #๐˜‡๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น๐—ถ๐—ทnotesfollow, #๐—ช๐—ฒ๐˜‡๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—บnotesfollow ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜๐˜†. โ€ข run a panel on its own: agent-top mcp, agent-top slow, agent-top fails, agent-top advice. โž• The # MCP panel also lists the orphaned MCP processes that outlived their agent and are still eating memory.

Using Linux hasn't really been fun lately, idk. Nobara, despite building on fedora breaks a lot, but overall the whole ecosystem is so damn inconsistent and fragmented. Not sure if I have gotten more sensitive to this over the years but all I want is a system that "just works" and feels good ๐Ÿ˜”

Inspired by two projects of github:schildep I start to explore what can be expressed in Lean and make coding agents implement and prove the implementation at the same time.
The two projects of github:schildep are "3d mesh intersection" and "multipolygon intersection". I can try "Voronoi diagram generation" as a starter.

I have to constantly be working or I get very agitated. Is this #workaholismnotesfollow? I donโ€™t like entertainment other than background music while working and maybe before going to sleep I watch a series on Netflix to relax. Thatโ€™s when Iโ€™m on my introvert mode. When Iโ€™m extrovert (Iโ€™m ambivert) I have to constantly be around people and outdoors, I get agitated indoors, canโ€™t work at all and definitely canโ€™t watch anything. How do these two personalities co-exist in me?
