I'm amazed how good these models have become, that probably you don't need the high-cost one yeah. I needed to process 20,000 json files & 20,000 JXL files. I'm pulling together a website from them all. Anyway, started with emacs elisp to handle it all, just because I've not done that before. Went kinda ok, and I'm gonna use org-mode to export it all to a website (done that bit loads of times before). In the end, I ended up breaking out my C programming skills (late 80s->nowish). It was a delight. Nothing more refreshing than writing raw code, that doesn't rely on 3rd party code/libs. #prognotesfollow

this is mainly a problem of switches. get a keyboard formfactor you like with a good body and replacable switches. thatll be the only keyboard you need for the rest of your life. if you want to change things up, buy new switches and caps. i personally use Outemu Silent Lime V3 Silent Tactile switches from aliexpress, and highly recommend them as they are cheap, feel awesome and are very quiet

I really enjoy low-profile keyboards for this very reason. Depending on your system of course, but the most silent keyboard I've used (and still use) is the Mac Magic Keyboard. But most low profile ones are in my experience pretty quiet.

There are days when I wonder if I shouldn't write in Catalan here, so that there is more visible linguistic diversity. After all, translations are cheap these days. Machine translation can help preserve the world's linguistic diversity.

Ubuntu has been successfully installed in VirtualBox. All you need to do is add an agent and you have an "AI torture chamber", as Futurism describes it... Let's just say I wouldn't put it that way at first...
