Yeah, I had issues with zellij too. I am sure it works great for many. I am too entrenched into tmux, will always find something to complain if I try to switch. And I have tried many times.

Iโ€™m not supposed to take that literally of course, but I donโ€™t think software has such an important role in our lives, for most of us. Water, food, air. Those you canโ€™t live without. When it comes to software, I spend most of my workdays in the shell (vim, git, grep,โ€ฆ) and if $place allows in mutt+weechat (although thatโ€™s mostly outlook and teams). Nothing particularly new!

Started reading exactly that and man it's mind-blowing. He's not anti-tech, he's anti big-company-culture-capture. Really insightful for being written in 1998. What I appreciate is he looks at a very wide view of tech, not just modern silicone.

Well, I'm currently installing Windows 11, and I'm getting to the interesting part, where the TPM 2.0 processor chip can be replaced in software with a program called Rufus, and where the Windows 1125H ISO needs to be loaded onto a pendrive of at least 8 GB.
