Hello, world

last time i checked cbd was just not psychoactive at all no?

It doesn’t have the high but it will make you more alert, kind of like tea or coffee.

I just took a look on it yesterday and seems like the stimulant effect is there, so seems like at this point there are mix results on if it actually helps with anxiety and sleep issues. For me personally seems to work just fine but Im not 100% sure how much does it actually does something for me or is just a placebo effect. My thinking is that if I do it from time to time, I can let my body get use to the feeling of a sleep schedule without create dependency on external melatonin dosis or CBD.

I think I’m gonna read devil man crybaby, I’ve always heard of it..

Oops! Looks like that’s the name of the show -_- I’ll give both a shot

Tweaking the algorithm. Really want posts like i.e genuinely long discussions, stay longer instead of getting burried away by newer posts.

I think it works now better.

Genuinely, I’m grateful we have such great choices when it comes to programming languages.

It’s just sad the whole corporate world runs on Java, Python, C++, C#, and JavaScript so I just look in envy at what I could be using

The interface needs some work. For example, I would like the textarea that I am using right now to be as wide as the header above. Also, where is the character counter?

Fixed! The character counter is impossible tho as we don't have any client JS.

I had a great summer vacation

hey that's great! happy for u, places you visited?

My childhood home. I saw enough of the world, now rediscovering what changed back home.

This #tome about #Tcl/Tk has me re-evaluating my plans to move to the woods to be a carpenter hermit. Now I want to move to the woods and be a programmer hermit.

I'm almost done making the lineart of the body pillow I'm drawing. sigh ...

I don't know anatomy, sigh. how do I draw Vulpes Inculta now..

I'll figure it out some how. learning anatomy is so hard and time consuming

In other news, I'm circling what sure looks like GCP overbilling us by over $1M/year going back as far as I can see.

You can't resize an image on the internet, not even under Windows, Grok only works roughly, what follows from this, we'll have to let Gemma in, as if Linus Thorvalds had complained the other day that Linux was also flooded with AI

just finished the book “This is what inequality looks like” by Teo You Yenn. will gather my thoughts and write more about it.

These days Ive been learning how to deal with guilt and feeling gulti about things I didn't cause. NGL is hard man, how do you start cntl-z your brains on that

I've been enjoying toast to help click through a project. I still mostly use Zed to handwrite code, but it's nice to open a pane and fire up toast from the terminal. paradise-runner.github.io/toast/

age restriction app on my phone doesn't let me turn off the picture in picture for YouTube T-T

Anyone here using NixOS? How long did it take for you to learn it and completely set it up? My current distro is Arch (btw)

Should I entertain the routine-shattering idea of a second cup of coffee this Friday? show codeconsole.log(Math.random() < 0.5 ? "Yes" : "No")

Yes

May as well go completely rogue and have a Crunchie with your second .

…

Do you dunk the Crunchie or mush it in?

Ewww. No, just have it alongside. Sip, scrunch, sip, scrunch. Lovely.

Oh I misunderstood you 🤣

Didn't have any on hand yesterday, but that has been this morning. Indulging now and then can't hurt. Good suggestion!

Need to use a quantum RNG to split the timeline into one where you did, and one where you didn't
