Applied to an L5 software engineering role via e-mail and without any other contact I received back a bunch of questions that clearly look like they're aimed at L6 or even L7. Not sure what to do with that so I withdrew. Briefly considered answering them but was weirded out.

I just installed Openclaw on my Linux box.
I had already cobbled together an agent like thing (pi) that I talked to over Telegram, so I figured, let's give Openclaw 2.0 a try, locked down completely at first, but slowly opened up over time.
I think I may be use this for now to spill out my guts a bit. Set out boundaries guys. I was basically ignoring how important that is, whatever is at work, family, relations. Be loved being you, you don't have to meet any expectations beyond yours.
Not familiar with array languages but it looks… interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.

It does not, but fakes it well, since it is fast and compares built binary with script mtime to automatically recompile. The downside of using it is that you end up with a binary, but the upside is that it is blazing fast.
What is the exact definition of an IDE? JetBrain's products are as good as ever, in my opinion, but people have definitely made non-IDEs into big, hulking behemoths with tons of plugins. If anything, maybe "just an editor" is dead?
I think they mean the transition that all IDE's are making towards an agentic interface, hiding the code completely as humans will not have to interact with it since the AI will be doing a better job at everything, even auditing it.

Unfortunately no. Just starting it. Got the proof of concept loading a dir with its sub-dirs then rendering on the GPU in textures silky smooth. 1.7mb executable, but will need to level up to SDL and that will double the size I think.

Longer answer: My editor does not start wars. I use whatever is convenient. Most of the time I am on visual studio code but I'll use anything. Well, anything except emacs I guess. I don't think I have ever actually used emacs.
I recently made a 10 foot sailboat and took it on a fifty-mile adventure in the Salish Sea. I can still feel the way the wind pushed the boat over the water. I kept imagining the way that our progress was the sum of the vectors of wind, current, and gravity. #tinkeringnotesfollow
