This is my first note, there are many like it, but this one is mine.

Lot of wildlife run-ins on my neighborhood trails this week. Ran past three deer yesterday, including a buck. Then a hare as I made it to the top of San Pedro Mountain this morning.

What’s the difference between a script-kiddy and a real #developernotesfollow? Abstraction. You can program your whole life without learning how to meaningfully abstract problems into simpler pieces that TRULY make the problem easier to understand. I’m not talking about design patterns or #OOPnotesfollow vs #FPnotesfollow. These tools can help. But to really simplify something for others, you need an intellectual empathy that many simply never figure out.

There are days llms impress, and days they don’t. I debugged an issue with Astra and it said it had no idea what’s going on and need to ask me before taking serious actions. Me adding “-f” to a mv and problem solved. So today I was not impressed.

I gotta confess, I vibe codet a Kirigami-based application and I liked it. I am a anti AI person, and cannot wait for the bubble to burst. Yet I see it can empower people that do not know a tech stack, and get good enough results out of it. However i also see, it makes you lazy (and frustrates as soon as it gets somewhat complicated). It seems it is being adopted everywhere. This is scary... if it becomes necessary, will you be able to find a job where they don't require you to use AI?

I’m using textlog to explore the intersection of #foodnotesfollow and tech, with the goal of building an app that solves a problem in this space. Named @C0C0A5profilefollowwww.C0C0A5.com, it's word represented as a hex color. Of all the words there, it is a cocoa-ish color and is an appropriate name for this idea.
