A lot of people write so much software to sandbox their AI agents. I say don't bother. Just give your agent its own non-admin local user account. It's easier and much more effective.

Most of programs use key chords, like Cmd-Shift-G, Ctrl-Alt-N and so on, you need to remember and press awkwardly several keys at once. uses key sequences, C-c then k then p then l. If I forget after C-c k p then press C-h and help appears.

Installed Hermes Desktop and starting to build out my team of bots. My experience with Hermes so far has been great: it keeps surprising me by being what i need it to be ... but I'll reserve a final judgement until after a proper period of use.

I've avoided social media (except YouTube) all my life, but this looks like it could finally be a better way to do it. I love how dates go so well with cashews. So at least once a day, I grab about 5 whole cashews and 1 date. It’s a perfect little snack!

What self control.. only 5?? :P

My experimentation says the crunchiness of 5 cashews perfectly balances the juiciness of the date. Your mileage may vary!

anybody got some recent software recommendations that you cant live without anymore?

I was using this combination and zellij is buggy when comes to source file or root folder changes and resource consuming. Then I moved to tmux + wezterm

Yeah, I had issues with zellij too. I am sure it works great for many. I am too entrenched into tmux, will always find something to complain if I try to switch. And I have tried many times.

I’m not supposed to take that literally of course, but I don’t think software has such an important role in our lives, for most of us. Water, food, air. Those you can’t live without. When it comes to software, I spend most of my workdays in the shell (vim, git, grep,…) and if $place allows in mutt+weechat (although that’s mostly outlook and teams). Nothing particularly new!

Made barbecue this evening. Lamb and chicken for meat, pepper and zucchini for veggies. Yummy! Kids loved it, the boy's sleeping now, the girl is reading a book, the wife's out with her girls, I'm with wine. Life's good.
