My 3yr old woke up at 5am this morning crying - not terribly uncommon - and when I went in there to check on her she just said "daddy's here" without looking at me and went back to sleep
Made barbecue this evening. Lamb and chicken for meat, pepper and zucchini for veggies. Yummy! Kids loved it, the boy's sleeping now, the girl is reading a book, the wife's out with her girls, I'm with wine. Life's good.
Well said. My post was glib.
More correctly, they are multipliers. Same goes for Musk.

I wonder if it's okay to keep posting in Japanese here.
I get the feeling the site creator wants this to be a place where speakers of various languages can talk together.

Most of programs use key chords, like Cmd-Shift-G, Ctrl-Alt-N and so on, you need to remember and press awkwardly several keys at once.
#Emacsnotesfollow uses key sequences, C-c then k then p then l.
If I forget after C-c k p then press C-h and help appears.
Built a couple lambdas today to send account verification and onboarding drip emails for folks who sign up for my app but donโt make it all the way through the onboarding flow. Pretty cool to be able to quickly bang out self-contained infra for this instead of having to pay some SaaS vendor.
After months of hardly any rain, Iโm really enjoying a cozy day stuck indoors just listening to the downpour; getting on with doing some house cleaning. Is it too premature to declare this autumnโ
Any #Netflixnotesfollow shows recommendations? I have no idea what is worth watching (since I rarely watch shows) so now Iโm watching The Mentalist from 2008. They had flip phones then.

Maybe implementing a subset of Markdown would be a good thing. I am thinking about bold, italics, inline code, and code block, mostly. Oh, and links.
I agree that minimalism is hard. Thatโs why the subset was explicitly recommended small. Yet, I believe it is extremely useful to have.

I've tested MD and honestly I don't like it. Bold/italics add unnecessary noise/clutter and the font is already monospace, suited for code, so inline code & code fences are not needed. If 3rd party clients want to implement them it's fine but I'm sensitive to visual noise.
I agree with this. The core you're building is around a deliberate minimalist philosophy. I was happy to build an opinionated client for my own use-case, but it should imo stay on the fringes for those seeking it.
