I can't figure out what's leaking on my '73 F250. Shows up slowly at the back of the oil pan. It's pretty clear because I've recently changed fluids and scrubbed the engine. It was definitely brake fluid for a while after it was overfilled but that has evened out. The oil level is steady after when checking every 10 miles or so. What’s your favorite #fruitnotesfollow? Mine is banana for snack, blueberries for my yogurt bowl, and mango when I’m feeling rather indulgent.

Any runners on here? I mostly consider myself a trail runner, but of course train on roads, too. Good for 1–2 races/year, more into running as a practice, a way to manage stress and stay fit.

Finally got my 3d printer setup for the first time since moving back onto the land. Man I love Prusa. Their stuff just works.

Last year I wasn't feeling too good. I turned forty, waited for surgery, and was hurt by my own colleagues. So I dealt with things. Maybe not so well, but to the best of my ability. One of the consequences was that I got a bit heavy. My body changed, and I didn't feel like myself. It was a problem for future me. So now I am here with this little belly of mine. We're not enemies, but I decided it's time to part ways. So I count calories. Maybe not so well, but to the best of my ability.

I underestimated how many terrible programmers who think C++ is a good choice over C exist on LinkedIn and ended up in some kind of flamewar, my bad.

WezTerm for local and remote multiplexing really is the ideal experience - it's so much better than using zellij, tmux, zmx, and friends.. I don't think they pitch this feature hard enough on their site. I think the in-terminal multiplexers have their place - e.g. if you need to access from mobile (no WezTerm there) or on machines where you simply don't want to install WezTerm for some reason. WezTermrm could probably eliminate that last one by packaging just the mux server.

Another little corner of the internet. Anything using fixed-width fonts and without pictures has surely got to be promising in this day and age, surely...

I naively went into a work problem thinking that RAG was solved by the service offered at work, and wow was I wrong. Been a fun week so far experimenting with many different methods before doing the academic research, and it's been nice to be validated by outside research.
