Recently hit 10+ years (cumulative) of being a software engineer. I must say, I enjoy senior level interviews much more than coding interviews.

I have a toddler. I come home from work, cook, feed, clean, wash up. We read stories and play. I put him to bed. Then I put something on the television and my wife and I scroll on our phones until she goes to bed. I am not so careless with the little free time I have. I continue to scroll until about 1 am. The next morning I do it again. On the weekends, I get to drink wine.

I hate it when I don’t remember if I took my midday pill or not. Not that it matters a lot, but still, annoying. I have notifications set up but I discard them by habit because they are exact times and my sleep pattern fluctuates.

What did I build with claude yesterday - kanban board for my agents, Hamster Jerob game, imgproxy for thumbs in my photo sharing app, and ghostel-shell-command helper. Today - digital detox day.
