You can program your whole life without learning how to meaningfully abstract problems into simpler pieces that TRULY make the problem easier to understand. Started with vim but felt limited, especially when doing heavy Julia visualisation work. Now in emacs and it's been smooth-sailing. Also, emacs + typst is amazing.

That’s awesome. There’s an owl (don’t know type) that hangs out at the playground in our neighborhood at night. First time I saw it, I stood frozen in place, amazed that it would be out in the open. Then as I walked away, I kept looking behind me, realizing I’d never hear it coming if it decided to engage 🦉

oh, I may not be able to get this since i am too young to purchase anything online and I lack the funds. I will definitely urge my family to get it though, because I do constantly have issues of hearing things or believing someone is watching me
