Up earlier than I should be today. The witching hour got me. I started thinking about how many in society have decided they prefer screens and artificial words over real words and real connection.
Have we collectively decided itโs easier to just not be vulnerable?

Nudged by an interesting read about time perception to try reclaim moments where I can deliberately feel bored again.
Judgement, taste and quality were always precious skills. In the world of , I have become more aware of the fact that it is often hard to put in words why something is good, great or amazing - or just looks good, but is average.
A lot of the professional content I see feels like most Netflix series. They have all the elements - but the overall experience is still meh.
Quality is still hard to achieve.
I have a toddler.
I come home from work, cook, feed, clean, wash up. We read stories and play. I put him to bed.
Then I put something on the television and my wife and I scroll on our phones until she goes to bed.
I am not so careless with the little free time I have.
I continue to scroll until about 1 am.
The next morning I do it again.
On the weekends, I get to drink wine.
