I have a toddler. I come home from work, cook, feed, clean, wash up. We read stories and play. I put him to bed. Then I put something on the television and my wife and I scroll on our phones until she goes to bed. I am not so careless with the little free time I have. I continue to scroll until about 1 am. The next morning I do it again. On the weekends, I get to drink wine.

what is a refinement? honest question - I'm restructuring our refinements now. Like having group of people discussing 5 items in an hour gives little chances any one of them will be addressed properly, unless they are trivial.

Architect/lead have a pre-refinement with product to clear 80% of the obvious questions. We share an agenda, devs can ask questions async. In the refinement product presents, we design a solution draft. 15 minutes/item. This doesn't work if product is incompetent and everything is AI-slopped.

my initial google on this topic wasn't very fruitful... are there any harnesses that let switch between Claude and Codex when you have the 20/month plans 'seamlessly'. rough edges are fine but I'd like to maintain memories between harnesses.

What’s the difference between a script-kiddy and a real ? Abstraction. You can program your whole life without learning how to meaningfully abstract problems into simpler pieces that TRULY make the problem easier to understand. I’m not talking about design patterns or vs . These tools can help. But to really simplify something for others, you need an intellectual empathy that many simply never figure out.
