signals. thinking about shifting my mental framework to identify signals instead of waiting for concepts to be assembled. exploring the amount of energy and opportunities for distractions through the operations of processing what just happened and what is happening to short circuit latent and unnecessary systems. cut through the assembly processes and identify the raw signals. recognizing that naming these "raw signals" is misleading. maybe, shifting observability lower in the stack.
bill gates built microsoft by making computation cheaper faster and harder for government to restrain. now that he's a billionaire no longer dependent on the free market for his own success he's discovered the virtues of taxing the next wave of computation. 1995 gates would have called it a tax on innovation. classic pull-the-ladder-up-behind-you politics.
It doesnโt have the high but it will make you more alert, kind of like tea or coffee.
I just took a look on it yesterday and seems like the stimulant effect is there, so seems like at this point there are mix results on if it actually helps with anxiety and sleep issues. For me personally seems to work just fine but Im not 100% sure how much does it actually does something for me or is just a placebo effect. My thinking is that if I do it from time to time, I can let my body get use to the feeling of a sleep schedule without create dependency on external melatonin dosis or CBD.

Iโm using textlog to explore the intersection of and tech, with the goal of building an app that solves a problem in this space. Named , it's word represented as a hex color.
Of all the words there, it is a cocoa-ish color and is an appropriate name for this idea.

Adding features is easy. Minimalism is hard.

creator of textlog:I agree that minimalism is hard. Thatโs why the subset was explicitly recommended small. Yet, I believe it is extremely useful to have.

Bold/italics add unnecessary noise/clutter and the font is already monospace, suited for code, so inline code & code fences are not needed. If 3rd party clients want to implement them it's fine but I'm sensitive to visual noise.
