Iโve had a machine gun approach. Shoot as many rounds as possible in the hopes I might hit something. #AInotesfollow has helped immensely in this direction. Went to the summer house to watch the #eclipsenotesfollow but it was cloudy so we missed it. But the kids are asleep so guess I'll light a fire and crack a beer instead. Woe is me!
Longer answer: My editor does not start wars. I use whatever is convenient. Most of the time I am on visual studio code but I'll use anything. Well, anything except emacs I guess. I don't think I have ever actually used emacs.

ai coding feels like it has reached diminishing returns for me. luna is my default orchestrator, routing work by complexity. in practice, usage lands around 16% luna, 48% sol, 30% astra, and 6% terra. at this point, i care less about each new frontier release. the system already finds a capable model for the job. the frontier is moving beyond my day-to-day work, so iโm happy to settle into predictable models for a while.

Iโve found the same, albeit with Opus โ itโs hard to find uses for Fable. I donโt need a model that works for longer or works on harder problems, I need one that consistently produces simple, easy to understand, code; which at this point none of them do.
I've been there since I settled on a combination of GLM, DeepSeek and MiMo for planning, implementation, and verification flows.
I'm a lot more interested at this point in having cheaper models that can consistently do the work I need. It's been a while that I hanven't noticed any improvement when I try new frontier models. I only notice they are very expensive.
same here, for almost an year. At this point, I could easily live with models that were released 6-12 months ago and continue doing so.
also possibly the reason why the current focus has been around agentic workflows or agentic anything, than the model capabilities.
Coding probably yeah, but still they are bad at generating novel information, new ideas and such. Theyโre also not very good at seeing the bigger picture, they will narrowly perform the task but theyโre not taking into account future revisions, which ends up in refactor after refactor in order to move forward.
I'm 55 and recently self-diagnosed as "fairly ASD with some ADHD" after watching a lot of youtube videos. It's been immensely helpful (to the point of bringing me to tears sometimes) in understanding the struggles I had when I was younger. It's also been very helpful in understanding what I can do currently to support myself and work with my brain instead of against it.
I'm glad it was useful to you. This process of becoming aware of our autism is not easy. It is liberating, but it is also difficult, at the same time.
I watched a lot of videos too, but then I visited a couple psiquiatrists and a psycologist (I had other problems too), just to be sure.
What is your opinion about the ASD youtube landscape? I think that there are a few very good channels, but there is lot of noise too. I see some danger there.
Yeah. I do like them sometimes, but the good authors are careful to start the video with looots of caveats (e.g. "this is not how to diagnose, just something that's maybe helpful").
Yes. Itโs helped me understand more about how things affect me and why I respond to things in certain ways, which helps me manage situations and myself better. Itโs given me a vocabulary to articulate experiences that I struggled to make sense of.
i dont mind the waits, cause ive been really liking the theorizing part of it too, cause the community is super active in between chapters and theres soo much lore and thematic connections to dicuss.
Is it any better than Undertale?
I played Undertale back when it came out, but despite all the hype I thought it was just ok. Nothing really that would make me go out of my way to play a sequel.
yes its much better than undertale, from a gameplay and design perspective. undertale had good story and characters, but deltarune is just that + better production value
Just another micro blogging platform. It's minimal and it's fine.
